Earth Day 22 April 2016 —
Trees for the Earth.
Let’s get planting.
Over
the next five years, as Earth Day moves closer to its 50th anniversary, we’re
calling on you to help us achieve one of our most ambitious goals yet —we’re
planting 7.8 billion trees and we’re starting now.
Trees
will be the first of five major goals we are undertaking in honor of the
five-year countdown to our 50th anniversary. On their own and together, these
initiatives will make a significant and measurable impact on the Earth and will
serve as the foundation of a cleaner, healthier and more sustainable planet for
all.
Why
Trees?
Trees
help combat climate change.
They absorb excess and harmful CO2 from our atmosphere. In fact, in a single year, an acre of mature trees absorbs the same amount of CO2 produced by driving the average car 26,000 miles.

Trees
help us breathe clean air.
Trees absorb odors and pollutant gases (nitrogen oxides, ammonia, sulfur dioxide and ozone) and filter particulates out of the air by trapping them on their leaves and bark.

Trees
help communities.
Trees help communities achieve long-term economic and environmental sustainability and provide food, energy and income.

Plant
a tree. Make a donation. Activate your friends and social networks.
We
can do this. #trees4earth
TO REGISTER YOUR EVENT:
Now "I" (
ISHAN KAUSHIK ) would like to say on this Earth DAY 2016 that,
The environment is where
we all meet;
Where all have a mutual
interest;
It is the one thing all
of us share.
Keep close to Nature’s
heart… and break clear away,
Once in awhile, and
climb a mountain or spend a week in the woods.
Wash your spirit clean
like a true conservationist is a man who knows
That the world is not
given by his fathers,
But borrowed from his
children with whom we have to live in each season as it passes;
Breathe the air, drink
the drink, taste the fruit,
And resign yourself to
the influence of each day we need the tonic of
wildness—To wade sometimes in
marshes where
The bittern and the
meadow-hen lurk,
And hear the booming of
the snipe;
To smell the whispering
sedge where only some wilder
And more solitary fowl
builds her nest,
And the mink crawls with
its belly close to the ground.
At the same time that we
are earnest to explore and learn all things,
We require that all
things be mysterious and unexplorable,
That land and sea be
infinitely wild,
unsurveyed and
unfathomed by us because unfathomable.
We can never have enough
of nature because in every walk with nature one receives far more than he
seeks.
Look deep into nature,
and then you will understand everything better like a good man who is the
friend
Of all living and
nonliving things but some how-to an understanding of the natural world and
What’s in it is a source
of not only a great curiosity but great fulfillment like it seems to me
That the natural world
is the greatest source of excitement;
The greatest source of
visual beauty;
The greatest source of
intellectual interest.
It is the greatest
source of so much in life that makes life worth living here in your and our
country.
Cherish these natural
wonders, cherish the natural resources,
Cherish the history and
romance as a sacred heritage,
For your children and
your children’s children.
Do not let selfish men
or greedy interests skin your country of its beauty,
Its riches or its
romance but A nation that destroys its soils destroys itself.
Forests are the lungs of
our land,
Purifying the air and
giving fresh strength to our people where
Nature never hurries:
atom by atom,
Little by little, she
achieves her work.
The lesson one learns
from yachting or planting is the manners of Nature;
Patience with the delays
of wind and sun, delays of the seasons, bad weather,
Excess or lack of water
but Humankind has not woven the web of life.
We are but one thread
within it. Whatever we do to the web,
We do to ourselves. All
things are bound together … all things connect where I only feel angry when I
see waste.
When I see people
throwing away things we could use but now somehow environmentally friendly cars
will
Soon cease to be an
option…they will become a necessity you cannot get through a single day without
Having an impact on the
world around you.
What you do makes a
difference, and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make...
STILL HAVING THESE THOUGHTS IN MY MIND "I" ISHAN KAUSHIK WITH ALL OF MY FREE HEART AND MIND
CONFESS( funny sense & smiles) TO WISH YOU ALL...
A VERY VERY HAPPY EARTH
